Catherine is a riddle platformer enterprise amusement in which players control Vincent Brooks, who starts having odd bad dreams after his better half, Katherine, starts to discuss marriage and duty. This matter turns out to be more confused for him when he meets a young lady named Catherine, and starts an issue with her, and the bad dreams get increasingly extraordinary.
The primary story mode, Golden Playhouse, takes after the story amongst Daytime and Nightmare situations. I can see why some people would get frustrated, to be honest with you. I have to say that Catherine is a fantastic-looking game. The cut scenes and the stuff in the bar is so good-looking that you would think it was based on an anime. At the time I was floored by the visuals and even now I feel they hold up very well.
A fantastic soundtrack and amazing voice acting just tie it all together. As you can tell, Catherine is a game that I truly do adore. I have played through this game multiple times and never once got bored of it. The multiple endings, the different dialogue options, and so on give you lots of replay value. The puzzle aspect is very challenging and that is what I think may put some people off.
